In June 2025, a passionate and dedicated team from Ellijay City Church traveled to Honduras on a life-changing missions trip. From the moment we arrived, the love of Jesus was felt in every village, every handshake, and every heart we encountered. Our mission was clear: to share the gospel, serve with joy, and be the hands and feet of Christ to those in need.
Throughout our time in Honduras, our team ministered to children, orphans, youth, and families—offering hope, prayer, and the message of salvation. We hosted outreach events, led worship services, and shared powerful testimonies. Many lives were touched as hearts opened and people encountered the presence of the Holy Spirit in a real and personal way. One of the greatest joys was seeing individuals make the decision to follow Jesus and begin a new chapter in their spiritual journey.
But it wasn’t just about what we gave—it was also about what we received. Our hearts were deeply impacted by the resilience, joy, and faith of the Honduran people. Through every hug, every smile, and every moment of prayer, God moved in powerful and unforgettable ways.
Ellijay City Church is incredibly proud of every single team member who said “yes” to this calling. Each person gave sacrificially—offering their time, finances, energy, and God-given talents to serve others. Their obedience and boldness made a lasting impact not only in Honduras but also within our own hearts and church family.
This was more than a trip. It was a movement of love, transformation, and faith. And we believe it’s only the beginning.
