Rooted is Ellijay City Church’s inner healing ministry: a safe, confidential place to receive prayer for the hurts of the heart and find healing, restoration and freedom in Jesus.
Inner healing
Healing for the soul, not only the body.
We are spirit, soul and body. Inner healing is prayer ministry for the soul: the mind, the will and the emotions. Old wounds, lies we’ve believed and memories that still hurt can keep us from the freedom Jesus paid for.
In a Rooted session, members of our prayer team listen with you, pray with you and invite the Holy Spirit to bring truth, healing and peace to the places that need it.

On earth as in heaven means the freedom of heaven reaches the places we’ve hidden. Walking in the Spirit transforms body, soul and spirit, and every believer is significant.
Rooted is prayer ministry, not professional counseling or therapy. If you need medical or mental-health care, we’ll gladly help you find it.

Anyone who wants prayer for the hurts of the heart. You don’t have to be a member of Ellijay City Church. [Adjust if sessions are for members or adults only.]

How is Rooted different from Fresh Start?
Fresh Start is a court-approved recovery and discipleship program that meets Sundays at 2:00 PM. Rooted is one-on-one prayer ministry for inner healing. Many people are helped by both. Learn about Fresh Start.
